The company opened its Las Vegas regional office in 1995 with the acquisition of the 400,000 square foot Green Valley Commerce Center.   Today, the portfolio has grown to include 17 properties with six million square feet in the region.   As the largest owner of multi-tenant industrial properties in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, the company is able to satisfy the full spectrum of tenant needs – from 500 square feet for start-ups or incubator tenants up to 300,000 square feet for major distribution businesses.   With projects in all of the region’s sub-markets, location preferences are relatively easy to fulfill as well.

Harsch’s development team completed its first “from the ground up” project, Henderson Commerce Center, in 2002.   Located at the intersection of I-15 and Warm Springs Road, this 400,000 square foot structure is the first phase of a master planned, multi-tenant flex-to-office development of over 1.4 million square feet.   Other development plans include embarking on construction of the 200,000 square foot Cheyenne Commerce Center on Cheyenne Road in North Las Vegas.

Redevelopment is also a major strategy of the company’s to add value to good existing properties in excellent locations but which require an investment to fully realize their value potential.   Such is the case with the recent $10 million transformation of the 375,000 square foot former Spring Mountain Business Park situated on the corner of Valley View & Spring Mountain Road.   Just two blocks from ‘the strip,’ this uniquely themed Asian retail and business center was renamed “The Center at Spring Mountain” and provides space for our 250 tenants.

The company’s retail holdings in the region now top 6,000,000 square feet with the recent purchase of the 380,000 square foot Stephanie Street Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Stephanie St. & W. Sunset Road in Henderson.
